The United States of America is in trouble!

The United States of America is a special place, and I believe that it was founded by men and women who were guided by God. When one really studies the founding of this country and what was required and sacrificed for it to be created, it truly was and is a miracle.

The Light of America

Since its founding, the United States of America has been a light to the world. What powers the light of America? It is God’s power. When His children follow His teachings, they are blessed with knowledge, wisdom, creativity, innovation, prosperity, health, protection, and every good thing which He desires to bestow upon His children according to His wisdom and timing. They are blessed with a portion of His power and radiate His light. The light of America is a composite of the lights of each individual American citizen, and its brightness is dependent upon the brightness of each of our own lights.

The Problem!

Now, our nation is in trouble. The light of America is faltering. When the light dims in America, it not only affects those of us who live here negatively but also dims the hopes of people around the world who look to America as a beacon of all that is right and good. The light has dimmed, and many might say it is flickering.

God’s power and influence is decreasing as individuals reduce or lose their connection to Him just as a light bulb will dim or turn off if the electrical power is decreased or the connection is broken. As God’s power or influence decreases due to our choices as individuals and as a nation, the light grows dimmer, and the darkness grows deeper. As the darkness grows deeper so also grows evil because evil is the absence of God similarly to darkness being the absence of light.

What is the solution?

I used to think that the problems we are facing as a country would have to be solved by people who possess great wealth, power, or influence. There was little to nothing I could do. I am just a typical middle-class American. Or so I thought!

I have since come to realize an important truth (or re-learn it). The problems we are facing as a country are directly correlated to the spiritual health of our country. If we each strengthen or re-establish our connection to God, His power and His blessings will increase in our lives. As His power increases, our individual lights will burn brighter, and the collective light of America will shine brightly once more. As a result, we as individuals and as a nation will see more clearly and, therefore, make better choices. Where required, God will fight the battles for us that we cannot fight on our own. Freedom, happiness, peace, and prosperity can continue to be enjoyed by all!

Increasing the flow of God’s power to our lights is something that each one of us can do right now. The ability to change the course of America is in our hands! It is not dependent on the rich or powerful. Helping individuals accomplish this is the mission of “Be the Light, Be the Change!”
