The Logo

The logo is purposely designed to be inspirational and to symbolize truth, but not be overtly religious. The idea for “Be the Light, Be the Change!” is to be welcoming to all and to provide a means to discuss and share truth in a safe place. The logo will be used to identify the BTLBTC movement and its mission and will remind people of their personal mission of following true principles and sharing the light of truth with others.

The Symbolism

• Compass
  • The compass is a symbol of truth and of following or navigating by true principles which are constant, unwavering, and completely reliable.
  • In the logo, the compass is also symbolic of the rising sun.
• Hurricane Lantern
  • The hurricane lantern is like a mobile lighthouse. It operates in stormy weather and has been used to signal trains and ships and travelers along routes. It is a symbol of light (truth). Each individual can be a light in this world to encourage their fellow travelers and to light the way for others who desire to find real and lasting happiness.
  • The tubes on the sides of the lantern (one on each side) are not purely decorative. They provide strength to the body of the lantern and also direct heat back to the flame to help it burn more efficiently and brighter. As we allow the flame of truth to burn in our own lives, it will burn brighter and more efficiently over time, as well.

The Colors

• Blue – associated with trust, truth, peace, loyalty, responsibility, and heaven
• Orange – associated with warmth, fire, purification, the Holy Spirit, and light (truth)
